I meant to comment when you posted about the Lemonheads' new music a few weeks back. I heard your Dando interview last year and felt a ton of empathy for you, a genuine fan of his art being put through the wringer; and some empathy for him, because of all of the things in his life that got him to a point where he would be so itchy and defensive. Your recent post reminded me that I needed to listen to the Lemonheads Bandsplain ep, which is great and made your Dando interview feel even more poignant. (She's on your side, dude!) I really admire that you were able to stay open to his music after all that! It certainly appears that this memoir will be a banger!

Saw the Lemonheads recently pretty small club gig playing Ray and Come on Feel in ‘full’. Couple of funny things:

- the strong waft of weed that came through 2 seconds before Dando walked on.

- in between albums he played some solo songs including Take it Easy solo while on the drums

- mumbled something incomprehensible half way through Come on feel and just wandered off leaving the crowd waiting around for a good 5 mins wondering if he was coming back - he didn’t…

‘Twas brilliant!
